Storage and processing of personal data

In order to optimize our internet online presence also date / time of access are stored, for access to our service section also the login data of our service partner and the downloaded files.

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web tracking tool of Google Inc. (hereinafter: "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse your use of our website. The data generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If the anonymisation of IP addresses is active on a website, the IP address of the user within the European Union or the European Economic Area is shortened. Only in exceptional cases will the user's complete IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on our websites.

Google will process this data on our behalf in order to evaluate your use of our websites, to create reports on website activities and to provide further services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be linked to other Google data.

Deletion of personal data
Personal data are deleted when you revoke your consent to storage of data and when access to these data is no longer required for achievement of the purpose pursued by the storage, or if storage is not permitted for legal reasons. SysTec data protection declaration for business partners and applicants

The protection of personal data and the security of all commercial data is a major concern of SysTec Systemtechnik und Industrieautomation GmbH (hereafter referred to as SysTec) and an integral part of SysTec's corporate policy. Personal data will only be processed in accordance with applicable statutory provisions for the protection of personal data and data security. Appropriate safety measures protect your data stored by us against manipulation, loss or access by unauthorized persons.

Purpose of data processing of personal data
In the context of cooperation with business partners (e.g. customers, suppliers, prospective buyers) SysTec processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • General communication with business partners about products, services, projects, technical support and time schedules;
  • Transactions within the business relationship, e.g. the handling of orders, deliveries, payments, service and seminars as well as for the purpose of accounting;
  • Mailing of newsletters, customer surveys and other marketing activities;
  • Maintenance and protection of the safety of our products, services and websites, for the prevention and detection of criminal activity;
  • Adherence to legal requirements (e.g. for obligations set by tax and commercial law).

If you provide personal data in the application process, these will be entered for data acquisition, processing and/or use in the following categories:

  • Personal details (first and last name, date of birth, address, school-leaving certificate)
  • Communication data (telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number, email address)
  • Further details (provided by others, e.g. data in public directories)
  • Data about assessment and evaluation in the application process
  • Data about educational background (school, professional training, civil or military service, studies, doctorate)
  • Data about previous professional history, certificates and references from former employers
  • Information on other qualifications (e.g. language and computer skills, honorary activities)

  • Salary expectation

Categories of data undergoing processing

For the purposes stated above SysTec will – where appropriate – process the following categories of personal data:

  • Surname and first name(s), business address, business phone numbers, business mobile phone number, business fax number and business email address;
  • Payment data required for the processing of payment transactions;
  • Further information required in the context of projects, technical support or the handling of a contractual relationship with SysTec or data supplied by our business partners on a voluntary basis;
  • Information available from sources accessible to the public.

Data provided in the context of your application process will only be used to process your application for the advertised position. Only persons involved in the application process will receive knowledge of your personal data. All persons involved in data processing are obliged to handle your data in strict confidence. We do not disclose any personal data to third parties unless you have declared your explicit consent or we are required to do so by statutory provisions and/or competent authority or court order.

In order to optimize our internet online presence also IP address and date / time of access are stored, for access to our service section also the login data of our service partner and the downloaded files. SysTec uses cookies and active components (e.g. Java) to trace the preferences of visitors to our website in order to optimize the appearance of our internet presence. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit our website. If you want to delete the cookies, this can be done at any time, this may however make certain functions unavailable. Information on how to delete cookies is available in the help function of your browser.

Legal basis
The processing of the personal data is required for the achievement of the purposes stated above, including the implementation of the (contractual) business relationship with our business partner/applicant. Legal basis for the processing of data is – unless otherwise stated – the European Union Data Protection Directive or the explicitly stated consent of our business partner/applicant.

Disclosure and communication of personal data
As far as is required for the achievement of the purposes stated above, SysTec may disclose personal data to external processors. SysTec may also disclose personal data to courts, supervisory authorities or legal firms, insofar as this is legally permissible and required to comply with applicable law or to assert, exercise or defend legal rights.

SysTec works together with service providers (so called external processors), such as service providers for IT maintenance work. These service providers only become involved upon instructions by SysTec and are bound by contract to comply with the Data Protection Directive.

No personal data will be transferred to third countries.

Retention periods
Insofar as no time limit has been specified for the storage of data (e.g. as part of a declaration of consent), personal data of business partners are deleted when they are no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of the storage, unless legal storage obligations (e.g. obligations to retain commercial and tax records) do not permit the deletion.

In the course of the application processs your personal data will be deleted within six months after the completion of the application process. This does not apply when statutory provisions do not permit the deletion, or the further storage is required for the purpose of giving evidence or you have explicitly consented to a longer storage.

Revocability of granted declarations of consent
When our business partner/applicant has granted his consent for the storage of personal data, this consent may be revoked at any time with effect for the future, i.e. the revocation does not effect the lawfulness of data processing based on the consent prior to the revocation. Upon receipt of the revocation of consent, SysTec may only continue to process personal data when there is a different legal basis for such proceedings.

Rights of access, rectification, deletion or limitation of personal data, right of objection and right of data portability
Under applicable data protection regulations our business partner/applicant has the right to:

  • Demand a confirmation whether SysTec processes personal data related to him and information about the data and further information;
  • Demand the rectification of incorrect personal data;
  • Demand the deletion of personal data processed by SysTec;
  • Demand the limitation of processing of personal data by SysTec;
  • Receive personal data provided by our business partner/applicant, or demand that the personal data be transferred to a third party;
  • Object to the processing of personal data of our business partner/applicant by SysTec.
