Interview: Marius, repair service

Hello Marius, please introduce yourself briefly.

I am 48 years old and have been working at SysTec since mid-2019. Before that, I worked for a small family business for 26 years, where I first trained as a radio and television technician and later completed further training to become a master IT technician.

After my former employer suddenly had to close down, I really wanted to switch to industry. In order to improve my chances, I completed further training to become a PLC programmer.

In my private life, after an extensive day at work, I find relaxation and peace with my great wife and my two wonderful daughters.

What does your daily routine at SysTec look like?

At SysTec, I am responsible for repairs and claims. In this very varied and interesting area of responsibility, I work very closely with all departments.

The weighing indicators and spare parts sent in by our customers are checked by me and processed according to customer requirements. There are returns for credit or indicators that need to be repaired. Once the inspection is completed, the customer receives a quote for the repair costs. Upon approval, I repair the device and then send it back to the customer.

What do you like about SysTec?

Most of all, I like the respectful interaction between colleagues in a flat hierarchy. Another positive aspect is the flexitime system, which offers a certain degree of flexibility — especially for those who have a longer commute. SysTec also offers all employees the opportunity to extend and deepen their knowledge by participating in internal and external seminars.

What motivates you in your work?

My motivation is to be there for our customers and to support them in finding the solution to their problems. In my field of work, interesting tasks with new challenges await me every day. Another factor that motivates me in my daily work is the team spirit among my colleagues.
