Interview: Christian, internal sales

Hello Christian, please introduce yourself briefly.

I am 26 years old and have been working at SysTec for 4 years now. Trained as a mechatronics technician, I successfully completed my advanced training as a mechanical engineering technician at the beginning of 2023. My key activity is internal sales and, as deputy team leader, I am also responsible for order processing.

How was your start at SysTec?

Shortly after completing my training as a mechatronics technician, I took the opportunity to gain new experience in the commercial field as part of the Order Processing team at SysTec. I always felt the support of my colleagues and had the opportunity to be directly involved in the operational activities. In parallel to my work at SysTec, I attended technical school in order to further develop in the technical field.

What does your everyday work look like?

In my capacity as Internal Sales Manager, I support my colleagues in technical sales and am constantly gaining further experience in the field of customer support and sales.

I am one of the first to arrive at the office in the morning and use the time to answer emails or organize the distribution of order processing tasks. I also coordinate, as deputy, the production scheduling in cooperation with the production manager and answer technical and commercial questions about new customer orders.

What motivates you in your work?

I really enjoy the ability to work closely with my team and the other departments. My tasks are varied and present me with new challenges every day. This gives me the opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience in the field of weighing technology. Flat hierarchies and short decision-making channels are a motivating factor and enable me to get involved in the company. Thanks to the flexitime system at SysTec, I can organize my working day flexibly and benefit from a good work-life balance.

How does SysTec support you in your professional development?

I have the opportunity to participate in further training and to complete a part-time degree in industrial engineering. In this way, SysTec offers me the basis for continuous professional development.
